Planetary Geographic

This publication was the product of the thesis work I produced in my bachelors of fine arts. I have always been interested in sociology of the gender, specifically notions surrounding the gender binary. Through this work I have attempted to give the reader a new perspective on these issues through a parody of a national geographic magazine. By pretending to be an oblivious alien reporter seeing gender politics like a cold war within our species this work strives to highlight how fabricated gender roles are and how destructive they can be to the people that they control.
