About
Born in and practicing in Toronto Marco Bertuzzo creates large, highly colourful, and seemingly allegorical paintings. These pieces, historically inspired, blur the line between erotic and grotesque, beautiful and tacky, possible and impossible, meaning and meaningless. Each piece invites the viewer to decipher their hidden messages and in doing so, fill the piece with the meaning that each viewer creates.
